Ten thousanth coin found this year!

Hi,
Yesterday morning I was 72 coins short of 10,000 for the year. I wanted to get there before the weather turned on me, so I decided to dig up the zinc pennies,well I found 60 of them along with 10 dimes and 8 nickels. I ended up with 78 coins before I quit. Number 10,000 was a zinc cent. I now stand at 10,006 coins. One more silver ring and I will have met all of my goals for the year. HH....Kane23

I don't have a PC, I'm at the public library. My wife recieved a digital camera for Christmas, I don't have a clue how to post pictures with it. as for the Ten thousand coins, I roll most of them up and spend them every week, so I could'nt take a picture anyway. I've been detecting for forty years i have had several articles published in treasure magazines,I've found thousands of silver coins and many gold coins,yet all i get is grief from people who are pissed and think I'm a liar because i can't post pictures......kane23

Sorry Kane, that was not my idea at all, about your last words. I don't doubt you at all, really. Other people find a lot too, that is not what or why I asked. The only reason is that almost all show their finds. But its OK with me, you have explained very good and I will accept it. Sorry for getting on the wrong side of you.

You just keep amazing me my friend! Congrats on reaching your goals and thank you so much for the Christmas card and beautiful coin! I love being able to show my friends and family your articles and other things you have sent. I think that is what inspired my son to want to start metal detecting and I am going to be soooooo excited when he gets moved home and I have a hunting partner! Thanks for your part in that! You are the best, what a great friend you are! Woody, should I ever figure the digital camera out and how to use it at the public library, believe me I will post pictures.
The winter here so far has been awful 38 inches of snow in 12 days, probably more than we got all last winter, anyways I wish all treasure neters the best for the coming years, with cheap gas hopefully it will be better for all of us....Kane23

Yea the gas price keeps me from driving around looking for sites, so I don't find many new ones......
