A friend cleared some land near a large U.S. Infantry camp recently but we didn’t find out about it before most of the cleared land was tall with grass and weeds. Doug (Dman) and I went there this morning and dug Civil War conical and round bullets, a valve stem cover for a Model “T” or “A’ Ford, and even eyeballed a flint scraper. The .69 cal. round ball I dug first thing this morning is shown in the first pic. Doug is shown with his early finds in the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] pic. Our total finds are shown in the last pic. It heated up pretty quick and we are expecting storms tonight. HH from Doug & Quindy!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Breezie & thanks for sharing your identification expertise to us and many others on Tnet!

Q & Dman, Another nice hunt as usual. THANKS for the Birthday shout-out! I wonder how many times I can have Jack Benny's birthday! LOL

:)
Breezie

Nice hunt. I love to see the CW finds and you guys never let us down. Glad you got out.[emoji106]

cool finds matter of time before a killer button shows up!

Looks like the clearing helped bring some relics within range of the detectors. Keep an eye on that area, may be more clearing done. Hopefully next spring the weeds will be down.

OH boy! With those finds, I'd have to get the bushhog out and jump back in there! WTG, you two!!
And Happy Birthday to our dear friend, Breezie! We love ya girl.......

WTG Mr Q and DMan. Happy to see you're back on the CW trail:icon_thumright:

That's what I'm talking about Quindy. You guys are STILL killing it in a "hunted out" place. Glad for you. Oh, by the way, the bean field is just like it was.

Thanks Breezie, relic nut, CD, Art, Steve in PA (He forgot to call me earlier this year Steve), Nana, OD, & Donnie-YOU found that camp over 30 years ago but I didn't know that when i began hunting there nearly 20 years ago). Thanks to all who looked & HH, doug & Q.

Old Dude, We will have a hunt video soon!

We may have found it but we sure didn't get it all!!! You and DMan are human vacuum cleaners. Where is Doug's tie?

Dave, he likes to let areas grow up for the deer, turkey, rabbits, etc. to have cover and follows a plan for rotation. When I first hunted there, the prior owner raised tobacco and corn. Thanks, Q.

Thanks CASPER! HH, Q.
