Texan Roll Call!

My name is Road Dust 66 ! I'm half Texan and half Tennessean which makes me royalty ! I live in the land of Sam Houston and Davy Crockett ! ( East Tennessee ) I can leap the Mississippi , whip my weight in wild cats , out wrestle an alligator and grin a coon right out of a tree ! If I come out that way to see the bluebonnets and listen to a little music in Luckenbach or Green Hall , I'll meet you in the bar at the Minger Hotel and sit in Black Jack Persing bar stool and sip an ice cold Shiner ! Tonight We Ride !

Hey anyone around San Antonio wants a partner I could use some people to hunt an AMAZING place I found, it's a very large area but a ton of WW2 history. I have found silver several times at this location. Air Force & Coast Guard Vet, Garrett AT Pro, Tesoro Vaquero

It was only a matter of time before someone mentioned the Central Texas WW2 sites!

I hunted once near the old army airfield (Curtis Field) in the Brady area... Found a bunch of spent munitions, aviation parts tags, and the occasional general service button or uniform badge.

There were a couple of German POW camps down our way too, NBTexan. Wonder who's back we gotta scratch to gain access haha.

Haha awesome post.

Shiner Bock, the Menger Hotel, Gruene Hall, Luckenbach, and bluebonnets... Basic ingredients of a great Jerry Jeff Walker album.

Gotta love them Gonzo Compadres!

Yes, it is at 100% full. It’s been a long time since the lake has been full.

I can’t see the lake from where I live to enjoy it.

Glad you caught that 'Faster and Louder' reference, Tejaas. Not many people do. I am proud to have Texas roots. I would love to move down to the Llano Estacado and live in a trailer house (double wide) with a satellite dish out front and drink as much Lone Star as I could so the kids couldn't get ahold of it, but hey, Maria says it's too hot in the summer and I don't like ice storms.

too little too late to save my foundation. Crap I don't want to spend the $$$ to fix it but it has to be done. They say there are two kinds of houses in Plano. One that need foundation repair and ones that have had it.

Got plenty of rain here My duck ponds are full and looking good
Just need some fronts to move them down here
