I saw my family for Thanksgiving yesterday.
My sister had cleaned out her house recently and found some coins she brought home from Europe in 1983.
She was never a coin collector and was no longer interested in keeping them so she gave them to me.
Nothing rare.
They are an interesting look at pre-Euro western Europe coins.
Spain was still using some Franco coins then.
One German and one British coin were from 1949, the oldest date.
She has never been to Japan or Bermuda and has no explanation for the presence of coins from those countries.
