I Finally got to Meet up with DKinPA Today.
Dave Showed up at the Truck Stop, Just as I was Heading
out the door.

First Place we went was a Stone Foundation in the Woods.

I actually thought you had quit for a bit after reading the classifieds on findmall. There was another guy using a "jeff in PA" name that was selling his Explorer 2 and getting out of it for a while. Thought it might be you, then I realized he was like in his early forty's. Not that you are a relic or anything

Sounds like you had fun with DK anyway, always fun to meet people from the site.

On the watch back, those are power transmission lines. They're built wide to seperate the wires, meaning they're high voltage. It's a style used out west (Dakotas, Wyoming, etc.).

Wow you still have those out there? Everything is underground here now.

House voltage (120-240) can be buried, but lines carrying 1,000+ volts has to be above ground. The watch was probably a retirement gift for a power engineer.

don't give up yet. there are folks less fortunite than you, like for instance. i haven't been out detecting in weeks. trying to sell my home so i can devote the rest of my life to detecting and here i sit keeping the house spotless, yard maintained and no buyers in over two months. i am about ready to go ballistic.
