This hobby is all about having fun. Me and the other Basstards of Bramble did a scouting mission yesterday morning. Charlrie shot a video of a copper being dug.

It was a successful enough scouting mission. I got a shoe buckle, roundballs, and flat buttons, and Charlie found a very nice seated CC dime. Bartek found some great flat buttons, injuns and Vnicks etc.

Great hunt man! That video had me cracking up. Looked like a ton of fun.

Thanks for posting Steve! I had a blast hunting with you two! The weather is getting more comfortable so we will be out more I hope :) ...and Charlie finally got his seated [emoji106]

Sweet finds Steve, nice to see that CC on the dime

You guys had great weather and a good time.
The CC Seated dime is a nice save.
Hey Scrappy, , first it was Roosevelt Dimes put back into circulation, , now you're giving away IHP's?
Man,, I gotta get close to you,, lol
Congratulations to you Bramble guys.

Congratulations on another successful dig

Wellll, I wouldn't quite call it THE site, the field was uncut and we couldn't even get near the actual location. Charlie says he's going to hijack a bush-hog and tear *** through there. We can make that happen provided we give him the right potion.

Never a dull moment. What you saw literally goes on our entire hunt. Thx DH

I'm glad you found it hilarious. I'm pretty sure I can swing that day in September so watch out! Lol

Yes, three cheers for Charlirie! With the cool weather you're quite aware of all the sites we have that'll open up. Fall or bust!

The ground was like concrete, mine was almost like digging on the beach haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, couple easy stabs, loosen up the sand and dig with my china doll hands (only because Abe made fun of my bear claws, he made me wear gloves!)
I'm going back to that manicured site of mine first light tomorrow morning. I got some promising farm fields to hit this winter. If this place I was at today pans out, I might get some other really good sites. Looks good so far.

That looks like a successful scout Steve. Me and BzyBee did a scout on Sunday and found a very large homeless man sleeping beside his shopping cart right in the area we wanted to check.

One word.
Outstanding video.

Sweet! That's awesome news man. It'll be a ton of fun, and we might even dig something cool.

Haha. These twin girls were walking with their dad and were so curious about history. Their eyes got wider when I told them how old the coins were 1880's. I couldn't resist. Perhaps it'll light a flame of curiosity in their noggins.

Give me a holler if you ever want to come to Jersey. I can't promise too much, but I can promise old ground. Maybe this fall. NYNJAS hunt?
