I went to the West coast to see what Debby stirred up. I was digging alot of coins and was seriously thinking about skipping the high tones and only digging the mids because they were wasting alot of my time. I kept digging them since I like silver rings. I had been hunting 5 hours and was digging another solid high tone. I shook out the scoop and finally a big silver ring. I did a double take and said no way its gold. A 8.6 gram 10k band. Its too big for my thumb. Ill never leave a coin behind now. 3.36 in clad and a floating dollar bill in the edge of the surf. Havent found gold in awhile, felt good to see that ring in the scoop. Most targets were in knee to waist deep water including the ring. I was using my CZ21.

nice chunk of gold LD, that's as good as finding 3 small gold rings on one scoop
sweeeeeeet!!!

I always say I'm gonna skip some high tones and never do. I guess I have a reason not to skip them now. Way to go....

Nice ring!
I have a lot of gold rings bounce back and forth from high to low tones with my CZ's, especially if they are shallow and very close to the coil.
