The BEST hunt in 15 years of MDing

Thanks! Started out with the standard pitch program and then decided to give a new recommended one a try. Tweeked it slightly and BOOM! Was having a blast with it.

@ Professor No bowing please. Hand me a beer instead. Lol.

Very much worthwhile for many reasons. It’s not always about the finds, it’s about the company and nature for me. I’m on to fishing for the summer. Some target shooting. Small hunts in the morning and evening now and then. Got to rest up for my big permission in the low country this winter. Also have a camping trip or two in the works with a couple fishing buds. For now I’m quite content on my porch with celebratory beer in hand watching the sunset and the bunnies.... I’ll be back!

Sounds like your enjoying life as everyone should.
Good Eve.

Editing program name to BOOM! Will get the settings posted tomorrow sometime. Easier than PMing it over and over.

When you get to a certain point in life, it’s all about making memories and less about stuff to feed the ego. And small stuff that used to matter, well it just seems like such waste of time. Lol.

Look’s like you boys had a great time! It snowed two inches yesterday in my neck of the woods, but it’s melted already so were going out tomorrow to work a spot that we scouted during the winter.

Congrats on the finds! I can only imagine how exciting it must have been.

Thank you!! It was beyond exciting. It felt like I was dreaming. I had to work for it but I never would have expected so many great finds in one day. I’ve never did the happy dance for real after digging a hole. I did that day more than once. :hello2:

Wow, Congrat's to you MetalArchSC and Smokey on one Fantastic hunt. Almost unheard of today, to find this number of great relics all in the same day and hunt. These will really look nice in the ole' display cases.:icon_thumleft:

Devldog, you are right. Our saving grace was 1) the place was not listed in the history books, so no one had ever looked there 2) we were first to hit the area 3) even after digging a few years the place is so huge, we hadn't even been on part of the property and this was the week to go bushwhacking and take the detectors where none would go before!

dang thats a killer hunt. well done

WOW now that was a killer hunt!!! Congrats :icon_thumleft:

Thanks y’all for the nice replies. It was a great day for sure.
