:headbang:

That's not a bad day out shaun :icon_thumleft: you have a Heraldic Horse pendant there as well, as for the coin weight :icon_thumleft: I have never had one in Ten years :-\

Re: The bits Crusader didn't want!

Still looks a great day to me, don't forget the Medieval Horse Pendant, Tudor decorated Pin, complete acorn leather mount, & silver sixpence 8)

I didn't mention the pendant as it doesn't match up to my last one :-\ The coin weight is also my second, but my best :icon_thumleft:

Found it, its deliberately uniface :icon_thumright:

Its for a foriegn gold coin - The Florentine Florin.
First struck in 1252 & was one of Europes earliest commercial gold coin.
They were around 3.3 grams & difficult to exactly date but its a nice early one.

Flear de lis with 2 annulets near base & 2 sets of 3 pellets at top :)

Beats my James I

Re: The bits Crusader didn't want!

Not too bad shaun :icon_thumleft:. I like your NIPPLE buttons ;D. The coin weight is cool .

In the farmers display case they are described as "pimple buttons", but nipples better :icon_thumleft:

Off the top of my head I think they only went until about 1704.

PS... Get ready to lose the bet Shaun... my first dig will probably be Wednesday, or Thursday! :headbang:
