THE CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT

Just read the posts, leaving town, pulling WD's wagon with our belongings. Leaving in an unknown direction. :P :P :P :P
Changed name Burdie to something else. Prizes buried ask Stoney56

Some of those Kansas gals are more than scrappy-they're tough. Knew one some years back that chewed Copenhagen-she didn't carry a cup, just swallowed. :P

One extra cup comming up WD!!! Ya just never know about those Kansas women.......(no offense ladies). All I have heard is stories, so I think I will just try and blend in........and not have to stay in Caldwell longer than expected (room and board provided).....see ya all in October. 29 already!

Geeze! Time's going by fast!

Everybody working on their displays?! Almost got mine done!! ;D

Charlie said he would pick up the tab, WSD, but he wants to stop by the saloon first, and gotta go by the stable and pick up fresh horses, ya know, after that long trip and all. Might be a little late, so go ahead and let Burdie take care of the tab on that one. ;D :D

Nana ;D

Omigawd, nana - that's only 4 way-too-short weeks away!

Oh, and we see how it is... Yup, burdie'll take this one - but we'll save the "big dinner" for Charlie ;D

I'll be sure and tell Charlie he needs to work a bit overtime in the next 4 weeks, Nan. ;D :D

ME...Tell ya what, I'll bring one of these Alabama tax tokens, and you can add that to your collection! ;D Better yet, I'll bring these zipper pulls I've been saving for ya too!

Nana,
You don't have to bring ME22 zipper pulls. Just bring your headphones and pretend to be preoccupied with the sounds your detector makes. Believe me....sage advice. ;)

Well, all jokes aside, Mastereagle and I are leaving on Thursday night and will be there in time for any and all festivities on Friday night. (If his wife let's him come. :-X ;D) We are traveling from SE Missouri and it is a good nine hour drive. I am pulling my camper when coming down. So....if we have no problems, we should be there in plenty of time. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone and establishing friendships with them outside of the forum. A person can never have too many friends. ;D

If you see us, wave us down and say hello. If we can bring anything for you from Missouri, don't hesitate to ask. Really don't ask. I am just saying that. Oh crap...did I type that?

Are you implying that a person cannot have too many friends or that you need more "normal" friends than me there BB???? ;D

All joking aside, I have never been to an event like this one. What type of displays do you other members bring to a thing like the CTH?? Obviously you can't give away all your secrets or I might steal them for my own but some vague ideas/hints might be helpful. :)

Usually it's just a display case with some of your finds. Here's some from one of our Okla. clubs..the ITTHC.

Re: THE CHISHOLM TRAIL HUNT - Driving thru St Louis?

If anyone needs to drive through St Louis to get to the hunt, you'll probably want to avoid I-40 - it's a real mess due to road construction. Or follow I-270 around to whatever route you're gonna take.

I was afraid I'd forget to post that... Long day, sue me.

Oh my! Isn't that the one I remember you using at Joe's old place out on 156? Well, let's just hope that when you fire it up, that the dust isn't from the tailpipe. LOL
