Carving

The reason for my excitement was as if I had seen the drawing before.

A little coloring added

A little coloring added for effect. Maybe I'm way off base . . . or it's in the eye of the beholder.

Jean Laf's Transposition cipher in Jim Gillogly’s Beale sequence

Within the same thread Jean posted the following:

"Transposition cipher in Jim Gillogly’s Beale sequence

Circle leads to Col John L Piper

Researching for a John L Piper as Jean Laf suggests, I found a Col John L Piper buried in Altoona PA and he was a Mason, "AHK Hebrew term
for brother". Fairview cemetery is within a half mile of the circle's radius.

Col John L Piper (1821 - 1878) - Find A Grave Memorial

Is this the correct John L Piper? I don't know, but I like how a Masonic Colonel appears along the circle's radius. I suspect the Colonel
will have some visitors stop by his gravesite to chat.

Col John L Piper is tied to Andrew Carnagie.

Does the rock carving appear to be the same as the described Enigmatist Circle?

Coded Photograph?

I believe this photo is an example of a coded photograph. They are meant to convey a message(s).
In this particular photograph . . . a simple wink.

"A wink is a facial expression made by briefly closing one eye.[1] A wink is an informal mode of non-verbal communication usually signaling shared hidden knowledge or intent."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wink

Wink | Define Wink at Dictionary.com

Bob Brewer's book "Shadow of a Sentinel" gives a few examples of coded photographs.
LC Baker in the KGC threads, also gives examples of coded photographs.

In today's technology . . . we send an "emoji".

I don't believe that is a "wink" Looks more to me like he was blind in his right eye.

Father: Charles William Beale
b. Feb 17, 1771, Botetourt Co, VA
d. Jul 10, 1842, St Clair Co, MO

Botetourt Co VA is at the center of The Enigmatist circle.

Well, I have his book, too... looked at it with a Magnifying Glass; NOT centered in Botetourt County... BUT! It appeared to be "centered" at the Peaks of Otter (Blue Ridge Parkway) (p. 127; Map # 7).

Anyone can draw a circle and center it anywhere they want to? What does it mean and what and where is the reason for the circle, triangle and tangents? Don't make sense to me?

Nephew to Thomas Beale.

Charles Beale and Anna Kyle posted by Jean Laf (page 1 #3)

His brother, Thomas Jordan Beale , born 1826 in Botetourt county, Virginia and died 1884 in Shasta county, California, has been discussed before on these forums, and has no bearing on Ward's 1885 Beale Papers published job pamphlet.

AND! If, the "center" was indeed Buford's Station (Train depot in today's Montvale, Va.), Newton Hazlewood's property would be within the "circle"; of GREAT "interest" to fans of the HART PAPERS! READ it AGAIN!

What is so interesting about the property you mention is that Newton Hazelwood bought the property and had to pay for it with gold coin according to the deed. Clayton Hart later bought this property from Newton Hazelwood's son, Frank.

You are correct Rebel . . . the center of the circle is NOT centered in Botetourt County. I never said it was . . .
The circle is centered on Virginia/West Virginia. The center of the circle lies within Botetourt County.
