Found my first piece of detectable gold! .3grams, with an interesting shape to it and some quartz in the matrix. Also ran a few test buckets through the new drywasher to see where it needs improvement.
This was the test I ran the other day, worked fine once. I took it out to the claim to run more than one bucket and the riffle tray from being put back in a few times wore out the rear seal so that's going to get improved.

Been searching for my own spot and I think I've found it. Due to the heat I only dig for maybe an hour each night and every time I come back with at least one nice picker. No signs of old diggings or tailings but tons of lead. You really have to watch your step in this canyon, I've run into this southwestern speckled rattler a couple of times. I'm now researching how to stake a claim, just need to visit the BLM office and also get a GPS tracker of some sort for corner markings.
Recon1 is almost done. It got a camo matrix paint job recently and I thought I had it done but had issues with how it was feeding from the hopper. Just need to tweak a few things and open up the size of the hole some. The motor was also drawing some weird volts and amperage, not sure if it's the vario/speed control or the motor causing it.
