Mighty hot in Reno today (99f), so I headed to the river where the tubers like to float.
All those tabs and no gold to be found! Sometimes it just goes that way.
The chain is plated copper.

I guess I'm getting pragmatic. The majority of my scanning it over park lands. If I reset my Vortex9 to no discrimination, I'd be stopping every foot or so, and digging bottle caps, pull tab debris, aluminum foil, gum wrappers, nails, mowed over toys, discarded THC vapes, and bobby pins! I already pick up discarded liquor containers and water bottles, and their caps. And, I can't believe how many still smoke and toss their butts hither and yon. I'm convinced way too many people are just plain slobs!

There will never be a shortage of morons that have to pry the pulltab from a can and toss it on the ground. If we want to find Gold, we ust dig the pulltabs.

Years ago, I decided to dig every pulltab to see if I could pull a Gold ring from a local park. After 62 pulltabs, I found a class ring. After another 20, I found the second clas ring.
