The only motel availible

I didn't get home til 1:45 am this morning. I drove from Pagosa Springs, Colo. over into Utah and came back for a meeting in Durango at 3:30 pm. and headed back home... Most the motels were filling up because it's Spring Break. What the heck, I thought they all headed to the beach or someplace warmer during all that This place had room, but no continental breakfast, TV didn't work or free WiFi, so I moved on and drove home. I'd never seen Denver with such low traffic like it is at 1 in the morning. This was the only picture I took the whole trip.

It's commonly referred to as 490 air conditioning...4 windows open with a 90 mph wind...

In the 80's I did detect many miners cabins like these. Never found much outside of junk iron. I concluded then if this was all the home one could afford ment that person had no treasure, but only dreams of a strike one day. I did though stumble on one cabin that was in a known mining camp and there was a pile of white quartz rock behind it. If I recall it looked like a good two yards of the stuff and maybe half a ton or more. I never did pick up any samples and have never gotten back to that place in all those years.
