If you've solved Cipher 1, then the only challenge is getting permission from the landowner for a dig. This might be tricky because you need to present enough evidence without giving away the location. A good attorney would be handy.

I quickly realized the possibility of finding the correct document and then numbering the document correctly was near impossible.

I like a challenge so I spent time trying to solve Ciphers 1 and 3. I quickly realized the possibility of finding the correct document and then numbering the document correctly was near impossible.

Since I do not have any advanced decryption methods/techniques, I admire those who DO have these skills and intelligence to solve the ciphers.

For the alleged amount in the Beale I could see that.
But by gum it wouldn't be because so and so said they solved a cipher but had nothing to lose if the X wasn't a payout!
More , we have no idea who knew what back when.
Redundancy redundancy. Then maybe something like Morris. But why really. No one is walking away with a half million I have a stake in and hiding it . Any once else will either have been robbed , or really naïve. Elected leader or not! L.O.L..

Would not finding the beale treasure be the only way to validate and prove that a solve was correct?

With thousands of different solves boasted about today, zero have been validated by finding the treasure.

It could be TB did make back a 3rd time, retrieved the treasure but didn't pickup the box with Robert Morriss so there would be no way to prove they solved the ciphers unless...TB left a stone marker...40 feet down, 2 million pounds.

Johnnyrev, You have been on here several times before claiming your feat of solving all 3 of the Beale Cipher Codes. You have used several alias in the past. You claim a solve date of 2014? I had my solve of all 3 cipher codes in 1999 and I had them copyrighted in 1999. You are about 15 years late. Sorry.

Now, for something I would like all Beale Treasure Hunters to know. In my studies and in my books, I have turned this cipher code every which way but loose. I have searched all newspapers and articles in magazines, I have worked years solving these cipher codes. But if you dig as deep as I have and finally hit bedrock, the Beale Treasure Story never happened.

I can say this because I have searched everything and I do mean everything. All of the microfilm records of the two Thomas J. Beale's in New Orleans from Fincastle Virginia. During the 1819 burial both father and son were in New Orleans. So it could not be these two Thomas J. Beale's. I have their records and their death certificates.

Then there are the Spanish Records of the Old Southwest, I went through those records at least 5 times. No party of 30 men or associates ever showed up during the Winter of 1817, nor the following years. The Spanish kept very accurate records. The arrest of James Purcell on two occasions, the arrest of Robert McKnight. Both were arrested over being Americans in Spanish Territory. The Spanish had all the Native Indians paid to arrest any Americans that invaded their territories.

Then there was Lt. Zabulon Pike, that wondered into Spanish Territory intentional to be arrested by the Spanish. He stole all of the Spanish Maps and carried them out while imprisoned by the Spanish. He published those maps in his Journals. These maps are remarkable because the Spanish listed old gold and silver mines that existed before they came to the territories. These mines date back to at least 626BC.

I have one book, "The Calalus Codex" about these ancient mines, who they were, where they were from and their existence in the territories from 819BC to 1068AD, a total of 1,887 years and with a list of 67 successive kings. Even 6 Disciples of Jesus born in the Tuscon Arizona area.

The 60,000 gold bars found by Doc Noss at Victorio Peaks was one of their largest depositories. And there are others. This was the seven cities of Cibola, but the mines were called the Kingdom of Calalus.

As I said I have 3 books already published on the Beale Treasure. My new book has been formated and is now ready for publication on Amazon. I have over 300 pages ready and working on for "The Calalus Codex II." I also have another book ready about the "Confederate Treasury in Danville Virginia. I already have 2 books on the Confederate Treasury and this will be number 3 as soon as it is formated for publication.

So, Johnnyrev and all others if you think you are the only people out there in treasure land that is working to solve these mysteries, think again. I have been solving these mysteries for the past 67 years.

1. Copyright 1999, I have seen this online, but I am afraid the ciphers are not using modern English words to describe the location of anything!

2. You are truly a great American and a scholar of historical literature, but I am only interested in the exact decoding of the ciphers not a historical lesson my friend!

3. The Beale person, I simply am not interested in at the present time. I have lost interest in anything but the ciphers themselves.

4. At the time of writing the ciphers, there were a few people who had been charged with a task. In 1821 the Spanish had bigger fish to fry. That’s all I can say about that!

5. I have not written any books fictional or nonfictional, but one day who knows! Seems like you have made a lot of money off of the Beale Papers! Good luck with that!

6. I am simply the only one that has used the key to decode them! I have found words in the decryption that I have had to use a dictionary from 1800 to interpret. The man Beale used words from the area in the west he was in at the time and words that we have not seen before 1830!
