The "real" find

Stormtropper posted a pic of his find so I though it would be okay to be a little sappy here for a minute.

The BEST find I have made since picking my machine back up and detecting is my friend Baldingboy. He is a great guy and really fun to hang out with. He keeps me motivated and appreciates some of the more bizzare items I have found. He has suffered through long hunts where nothing is found but junk with me (places I get permission to hunt). He never complains, when he is detecting he is in his element. He is just an all around great guy and a truly good friend. I know a lot of you have buddies you hunt with, and some of you probably have similar friends. Even though he always has to show me up I am still very lucky to such a good friend to detect with. If you hunt and you know someone who might need a little encouragement or even company on a hunt, why not extend the hand of friendship?

You are right ,there is a special camaraderie when out in the field . Its always fun also to show your good finds and compare detector signals over different targets and after a hot day of hunting you kick back with a cold one and compare finds and swap stories. Good stuff.
