Looks good man, where in San Diego are you digging? I spend the majority of my time prospecting Ramona. I'd love to work some new areas!

Looks like Great color!

Congrats on the awesome cleanout!

Au79Ramona: This claim is "Starlight" that is part of SPMA. I belong to a couple clubs here in San Diego, Southwest Prospectors & Miners Association (SPMA) and Treasure Seekers of San Diego (TSS). Both clubs have pretty good claims. You have to run a lot to get a little at this particular spot.

Nice gold Mike! :occasion14:

Have you had the chance to get that smaller Royal out in
the field yet? I know you bought it as a backup unit, but
I'd love to hear that it's catching all kinds of decent gold for ya!

Mike nice job. You finely got the level thing figure out. Are you running it at about 15 degrees?

Dizzy: I have not used the Mini Me Royal Drywasher, it does make a great addition to my living room furniture though. Some day I will use it, I promise to keep you updated.
AzViper: Yes 15 degrees @ 1/4 throttle is the magical set up.

Two thumbs up for the Royal Large sized dry washer. Now that Royal makes a really big DW, mine would now be the medium sized one. I try to run it fairly flat with enough air pressure to bounce the little stuff 1-2 inches. Has anybody tried the new super sized Royal DW?

I have not tried the King Royal Drywasher, I have looked over one at San Diego Prospecting Supply. Its close to a Keene 151 in size. I personally like the Large Royal, it can keep up with running 100 buckets per day just fine, you dont have to have a huge blower, no plastic parts and it recovers really well. I set the recovery box at 15 degrees, once you fill the box with material that adds weight obviously, its drops down to 16.5/17 degrees. Mind you the Echo PB-255 only needs to be @ 1/4 throttle. And one more thing, Robert at Royal is a stand up guy and their customer service is top notch.

Yep you got to love the Royal products and Mike is correct, Robert is a great guy, the president of Royal Manufacturing hits the GPAA shows himself promoting his gold mining products. We bought our second large Royal. Quality is second to none... Large Royal pictured with one of my Viper-Vac's. Royal made a change in the legs as I have the older version here in this photo. The legs breakdown into 4 components.
