Hit the new field again today the one that produced the amazing finds of Wednesday, being so close to the sea the wind chill factor seemed like minus 10 but nothing was going to stop me today, again I was hunting with my buddy Michael he had the first find a bent Hammered of Edward1 and quickly followed it up with a Saxon fragment of Cruciform Brooch two nil to Michael. Not to be out done I had my fist silver of the day a cut half short cross Hammered not sure of king might be a John, that was the morning session over. After lunch I was quickly back on the Silver a Roman Faustina JR Denarius, Draped Bust Right, Pudictia Standing Left, Sacrificing over Alter(I Think :P) again not to be out done Michael also had one haven't ID this one yet but I think it might be Antoninus Pius, a couple of later coins showed up in the form of a 1819 George111 Shilling (Michael) and a 1897 Victorian Florin(Two Shillings) found by me. Later in the day I had my second Roman Silver a Lucius Verus Denarius, Bare Head Right, Proventia Standing Left, Holding Globe and Cornucopia. On the way back to the car Michael had a Amazing eyes only find in the form of a Bronze Age Barbed & Tanged Flint Arrowhead some 3,500 thousand years old Another Great Day TK :o.

Hey Tyre Kicker,I collect ancient coins and I love to see these great finds, and since I can't find these myself,I have to live vicariously thru your finds and those of Crusader and a few other guys who post here.I'm sure we all enjoy seeing 2000 yr. old silver being posted,so keep em coming.

You know my feelings on this. This is about as good as it gets. These sort of days may happen once a year if your lucky. If this continues for 2008, then whether you post or not your going to be one happy bunny.

Enjoy your last pictures of Roman Silver and outher ancient finds from yours truly TK the time and effort that goes into researching the finds is just not worth the lack of feed back or interest :-\ I have been a member now for over two years but have noticed recently the number of responces have gone down to my posts :-[ I only made the Banner because of pressure from another member, and apart from a few American members the replies tend to be from European members I guess my finds just don;t appeal to the Majority :'( please don't think I am being funny or petty but it's just the way I feel. Good luck to all T Net Members and may all your finds be Treasure 8) I won't stop looking on T Net As I enjoy it to much but I will not be posting TK :'(

You have made some great finds, but in all reality, we, as Americans, don't get the chance of finding ancient coins. Henceforth, the lack of responses could indicate extreme jealousy. I, as KirkPA, am super jealous and will admit it, sir! :D

In all gravity, keep posting! Did Eli Manning give up? Nope, he kicked some major butt-ocks! ;) :)

Keep metal detecting!

Kirk

Once I land at Heathrow, I'll give you a call to jitney over...I can change in the car ;)
