The Tesoro to Minelab Problem

What is "the Emulator"?

Dan

You can download it at minelabusers.com (hope this doesn't get pulled by the mods) it is a program that reproduces what your machine sounds like running over clean good and bad targets. It lets you make setting changes just like a real machine does and lets you play around with those settings and see how it affects things.

The xterra's are not hard at all to learn. The 30 being the easiest. No need to read a manual on that one. I have a 70 and it's easy to run also.

I had a vaquero and yes it (to me) was easy to set up. the x70 is has alittle more to do, but it has alot more features too. I like having more than one tone, and the extra factor of the id. I was going to get the cortes but I felt by the newer tech and the push pads, I chose the x70. So far I am not disappointed.. it is all that I was told...miss the vaquero but would not trade it back..

I don't see it at the minelabusers.com. I just got some other links. What is the specific site you go to after you go to the site? Thanks

i have been using my nephew to dig while i learn the GT. we are hunting around the table i have used to shoot for 30 years. 22 long rifle through 30.06. boy have we have our wouk cut out for us! :icon_study:

Well i went from a X-Terra 70 to a Vaquero. I actually run both, and like both. The Vaquero is deeper right out of the box. The X-Terra has more features. I really like them for different hunting styles. I like using the X-70 for coinshooting and at schools. The Vaquero is the one I use for old house sites, and tot lots.

I plan on using both for a long time.

I started the opposite way, with a sovereign first and the Bandido second. I like them both. If a playground is what I'm hunting, I use the Bandido, if it's one of my old spots it's the minelab.
They both have their place. But old spots are what I hunt most and my targets are too deep for the bandido. I only have stock coils for each. I've had an interesting year so far mostly using the minelab. I'm getting better at finding spots to hunt.
Oh by the way,,, Badger you and Sandman are two of the main reasons I bought the Bandido.
