My hunting buddy and I both upgraded our machines this year. I went with the CTX3030 and he got an XPDEUS. We both had ATPROs so it was an interesting learning curve. He got out probably 25% more times than me, but we hunted together many times. This is the haul, minus some of his clad and a few bells and do on.

He finished with notable finds:

10 coppers including CT state, 1746
French Giana 1789
Dutch 1754
2 Trimes
1868 Shield Nickel
And a TON of wheats and Indians

I finished with:

1798 Spanish Reale
1858 seated dime
4 coppers including a nice 1802
New Hampshire Militia officers button
Mass. Volunteer Civil War button
And a Ton of Buttons and bells (9 in all)

And of course, we probably have a couple hundred pounds of nails, slag, bottle caps, hoes, shovels, axe heads and all the other rusty crap you can imagine.

A great year, and considering it was basically our first year out using research maps, I consider it a success. Hopefully next year will yield us a few old silvers! Happy Holidays and Happy Hunting!!

Fantastic Hunting Season! :notworthy:

Thanks, we just wish we had a few older silvers

Great job guys! The early silver is damn tough to find in this area. Not a whole lot of wealth up here. Very short lived early siresvas well due to conflicts with the natives. Hope this momentum carries thru for you. I'll be watching. 'Maybe we can hook up in the spring

You had a very nice year congrats on all your hard work
We , the people who find these pieces of history understand their real value
I have tried other hobbies but this one
Really makes me smile I love all of your finds from the (tiny bell that's cool )
To the pile of coins. Great job. Hh gl.

A big congrats to the both of ya'll. Youse guys dug a nice assortment of finds. Looking forward to what you find this coming season since both are swinging top end machines.

That's quite a haul you guys took in this year. Good luck in 2017 :icon_thumright:
