It came from an estate sale at a small boutique store in a fancy area. Cedros rd in solana beach California

Silver plate tray, for the asking price is 3x the real value. Unless the crystal is signed they're a hard resell.
 
my sister in law has an estate sale business. One thing that I've noticed after their sales is that glass ware like this is almost always left over. Hardly anyone buys it or silver plated serving trays and such. The world is changing, people don't have family or social gatherings like they used to, and people just simply don't use this type of stuff very much any more.
