I found this thing about 8 years ago while out on a test pan run on a creek near me I had taken my pan stored in a small back pack and had my snuffer bottle and loupe as flour gold is sort of hard on the eyes even with a black pan.
after running a few pans I proceeded to pack everything up grab my bottle of water for a drink and noticed I needed put my snuffer bottle back in my pack when I reached down for it I noticed something out of place or at least odd.
It may be nothing but it sure looks strange to me I know there are at least two huge native Indian burial mounds near me and another 2 rather small ones real close but neither are near this creek I was on.

If it was from a farm field, I’d suspect plow scoring, over the years. Yours does look like it has a design though. Very interesting. I would keep it either way.

It looks interesting but I believe the lines are just softer veins of stone that have naturally eroded away.
