I did my standard Tuesday run, but added another branch since the first three branches only had 1 - $50 bag of pennies between them off the coin machine.

At the fourth branch I picked up 1- $1000 bag of quarters, 1 - $200 bag of nickels, 1 - $50 bag of pennies

Been too busy to go through much yet this week.

So far I have only gone through the $200 bag of nickels which had good quantity and about average quality.

1 - 1944-P War Nickel (getting ever so close to that 200 barrier)
1 - 1941-S Large S

Unfortunately the quarters were not as good as the nickels.

skunked on silver

What I did find was:

11 Canadian (1968 Nickel, 1975, 1977(2), 1978(2), 1980, 1994, 1995, 1999 March, 2000 Wisdom)

You are very brave to try quarters. Way to many hands between each trip back to the Fed.

Nice haul otherwise.

Had just over $1000 left and nothing else to buy as it was closing time so I figured why not...been a quarter cold streak though, haven't found one in a few thousand $.

Nice haul. That's a lot of war nix you've found! :)

I remember using those Namco tokens. In my younger days, nothing would part me from my money faster!

Watch out for Dave & Busters then. ;) I find tokens for Namco and D&B when metal detecting, but not CRH.

Just finished one of the 2 bags of pennies:

nothing special

16 wheat pennies (1940, 1944(3), 1945, 1946-D, 1952-D(2), 1955-D(2), 1956-D, 1957, 1957-D(3), 1958-D)

20 Canadian (1961, 1963(3), 1966, 1967, 1969, 1974, 1975, 1977, 1979(2), 1981, 1982, 1986, 1988, 1991, 1993, 1996, 2007-RCM)

1 Foreign (Bermuda, 1 Cent (1988))

1 Quarter

Did the last bag of pennies from this batch tonight.

1 Indian Head (1881) <-- My oldest coin ever found CRHing. Beats my 1883 penny and 1883 nickel by 2 years.

13 wheat pennies (1942, 1945(2), 1945-D, 1947-D, 1950-D, 1951-D, 1951-S, 1953-D, 1955, 1957-D(2), 1958-D)

31 Canadian (1961, 1962(2), 1965, 1966, 1974, 1975, 1976(2), 1977, 1978, 1980, 1981(2), 1983(2), 1984, 1986, 1987, 1989, 1991(3), 1992, 1995, 1998, 1999(3), 2002, 2004)

1 - 2000 Wide AM

Also crossed the 2500 wheat penny plateau for the year.

Congrats on your recent finds GMan, and especially your new oldest coin.

Did you realize that in the last 235 years there have been only three "radar" (or palindromic) years -- 2002, 1991 & 1881 -- and now you can say you've found a coin from all three. Next would be 1771, which may be kinda tough :D but with your luck you never know...
