Three heartbreakers!!!

I've been at this for 6 months now and here are my biggest heartbreakers so far.... I enjoy looking at these pieces just as much as my full points... makes me wonder how long they would have been. Love to see some other heartbreakers!!! post'em if ya got any...

Ashtabula, Dovetail, and Adena. They are heartbreakers for sure. Now for the fun part. Pull out your tin of broken ones and see if you can find the tips for them. I do this everytime I go out and find a broke one and sometimes you get lucky!!!...................GTP

Yeah my buddys and i always joke about having the other part on the way home from finding heartbreakers but no luck yet. Do ya think that is a Adena or could it have been a Beaver tail? Thanks for the reply

i believe a beavertail is a type of point in the adena period. but yes in my opinion it is a beavertail.

Here are a few of my heartbreakers.

The one in the first photo is 3 inches long without the tip, the one in the second photo is 4 inches long without the tip, and the one in the third photo is 3 3/4 inches long without the tip, and the drill has just the very end of the base broken off is 1 1/4 inch long. This could be a interesting thread I may have to dig my coffee cans out that I have most of my heartbreakers in.

Some heartbreakers...The first three are Ky. pieces I acquired, the rest are personal finds. The last three hurt the most.
