Time Searchers Program # 9 "The Colonial Blockhouse part 4"

This is our way of documenting and preserving the past for the future generations. Time Searchers, the original metal detecting adventure series-often imitated never duplicated.

On this video The Time Searcher & the Colonial Relic Hunter is still hunting at the Old Colonial Blockhouse but a 100 or so yards away from the Blockhouse. The finds have been getting slim and it was time for a change to move closer up stream.

Bill is detecting up near the end of the woods and the stream/creek is only a few feet away when Bill gets a one-sided signal. Bill tells us why you should dig these signals because they could be an axe head or a big old Copper. Bill gets down and digs feverishly and the artifact still in the deep hole. Bill continued to dig when the signal just about disappear. Bill keeps digging and Bill & Rodger give there insights and other adventure they were on through the years.

The signal is a really deep and Bill keeps chasing it. Rodger keeps telling his stories about a deep signal we gave up on years ago and it still today we wished we finished digging to see what it was.

Bill digs down about 18 or so and he is about worn out digging. Then on the last shovel full out pops a King George Copper 1723 Cartwheel. Bill and Rodger could not believe what they are seeing. You can hear the excitement in Rodger & Bill voices and actions.

Bill covers up the hole and get ready to leave. Bill say we should go back real soon before summer comes. Well Bill & Rodger never did get back up to the Colonial Blockhouse site. Now its been almost 2 years now since finding the deep Copper! Bill & Rodger do have many other sites they have and it gets tough detecting all of them.

Well we here at Time Searchers hope you enjoyed the show. Remember we are here to document and preserving the past for the future generations, and to educate you while entertaining you at the same time. We feel here that we learn better while having fun!

Stay tuned for the other parts of the series and our up coming special events.
