Could it be a salesman sample ? It's missing the middle piece of wood , which shouldn't be to hard to replace .

It would fit in your wallet or shirt pocket . I wouldn't want to depend on it camping , I guess you could make some toothpicks .

My saw is fairly sharp ' a whirligig man would finish sawing in a few minuets .

I made a center piece out of Teak wood .

I replaced the string with copper wire . I'm going to ''age'' the copper overnight with some liver of sulphur .
