Tiny gold, trinkets & clad
Hello Metal Detectorists!
It's been a while since I posted anything as I've only been finding clad. This morning I had to stop by the Doctor's office and give them a little of my blood (normally the oil companies have been taking my blood). As I was pretty close to the city I thought I'd hit a couple spots before going home. My map book showed a park that I had not been to as it was off the beaten path. Located in the middle of several sub-divisions it was a bit hard to get to, but I thought it might be worthwhile. I was pleasantly surprised at its size! Several hours later I left the park with 12 quarters, 14 dimes, 6 nickels and 26 pennies as well as two rings, a black pendant, a sponge bob pendant, a band pendant, a penguin thing and a small heart. The small school I hit only yielded 2 quarters, 4 dimes, 5 nickels, 16 pennies and a tiny 14K earring. Only $6.27 total for the 3 1/2 hour hunt.

On the 15th I hit a few parks and schools in a few neighboring cities netting $10.96, 3 little cars and the following trinkets.

Here is an interesting coin...A Ronald Reagan Commemorative coin which I thought was a silver dollar when I dug it up...unfortunately its only worth about $2.00.

Happy hunting everyone!
