Tired of doing 2 boxes of halfs

I have been doing 2 boxes of halfs a couple times a week that is what I pick up from the bank. So today I went to one of my banks and order 4 boxes for this week end. I figure maybe getting for at a time I will not be getting skunks all the time. I don't know but this is what I am going to try this week.......Matt

good luck! I started ordering half dollars in january, started out with these orders:

$500 Halves January 7, 2011 1x 1964 | 6x 1965-1969
$500 Halves January 28, 2011 NOTHING
$1000 Halves March 8, 2011 2010D, 2009D, 2008D, 2008D, 2005P, 2004D, 2002D, 2001D
$1000 Halves March 29, 2011 1968d, 1968d, 1967, 1963 Ben Franklin. 2003p, 2004d, 2005p, 2005d, 2005d, 2008p

and this was not from a box of halves, but purely luck as I was dumping my post 1971 kennedies
March 23, 2011, $7 in half dollars swapped from half dollar bag at a local bank.
2x 1968d, 9x 1967 2x 1966 1x 1964

and tomorrow I am picking up 3 boxes ($1500) in half dollars... As I learned from this forum, consistancy is the key and not to give up when you get a skunk, just as I do with dime boxes...

Oh I not giving up. I have had 20 boxes of halfs all skunks. I been ordering 2 at a time from 3 different banks. So I decide to try 4 boxes from one bank this week. To see if I do any better.....Matt

Just keep chugging along with your 2 boxes. More boxes just makes more to dump and a quicker way of being cut off! If you are going to be lucky it only takes one box!!!!
