TO GET TO A THOUSAND POST ?

HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO GET TO A THOUSAND POST ? FOR THOSE OF
YOU THAT HAVE GOT THAT NUMBER, FROM WHEN YOU STARTED TILL A
THOUSAND POST. JUST WONDERING ? THANKS.....

I haven't reached that goal (if you want to call it that), but imagine it depends on how much time you have on your hands. A lot of people would rather be out there hunting instead of posting in a forum. I know I would.

and how much you have learned doig it.

did your posts contribute to the overall quality of the site?
if so, there is much to be said about some who have only a few posts.

it isn't the quantity...
It's the quality.

Depends on whether we count those silly one liners and emoticon only posts w/o text. Have you really posted anything when it looks this:

Fess up, that ain't posting. Now go say something nice to somebody. Of course there are a few who say alot with a little, but they're all and stuff.

Figuring 3 minutes for each post, it cost me 50 hours of life for every 1000 posts.

Figuring 16 awake hours per day, that's 3.125 days completely devoted to reading/postings.

I'm usually most active posting during the detecting season and do about 2000 posts during that time. This means every summer I lose 100 hours of potential treasure hunting time (if I consider night hunting too) due to my Tnet addiction.
