This was my 34th seated coin I've found. Glad they all don't look like this!

Not a newly burned out area. Fire must have happened a long time ago.

It's still a seated half, even if you can barely see it! I would love to find one of those!

I have only found two seated coins in my 14 or so years of hunting, an 1891 O dime that was like new except for a little ground damage and an 1840 half dime that someone started punching a hole in, but didn't get through.
 
At least you can see a date. I have a few unreadable ones that I just KNOW are rare dates!

Ive found a silver flattened by a train but still looking for one scorched in a fire:laughing7:
