Today on the river Thames

Hello got my deus back from repair so it was about time to be reunited!First a big thank to the XP team in France who always do a fantastic job.

So i hit my favorite spot for 2 hours ,managed 3 jeton:


1 nuremberg probably from the 16/17th century

2 from casino or game machine

an apothecary spoon second one i found in this area probably around 1800


few other bits thumbed pottery (decorated by pressing the the thumb to create a patern)

Few bits of slipware and weterwald pottery


Forgot to mention £1.07 1 US coin and a french coin



well pleased to have my machine back tides are very good this week end we will see what they bringing i can't say how glad i m to have my deus back,jetons came out as the day they were lost dude to the nature of the mud.

NIce haul, is the coin brass? You may have to explain some of the history behind these treasures being they are foreign to some of us..

Get us a shot of your hunting conditions also, sounds very cool hunting the rivers...But not to give away your location..

I have a few rivers inland I would love to hunt, lots of big rocks I seen here..

Thanks OB Token is brass probably 16/17th century ,River banks only and i m trying to get a bucket scoop like tool mad to be able to pull the rich gravel......would have love to have a dredge on the river but mechanical help is prohibited......

Apparenlty in the 70/80s someone imported one from california but the pump was blocked by condoms too many times true story....oooo boy i can tell you how hard i would like to try
