I went sluicing for about 4 hours today at a spot where I normally just go sniping. I had to sluice because I got to a point in the creek where the overburden was about 1.5-2ft deep. Here's a pic of the gold. It's 1.5 grams

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll be going back to that spot pretty soon because I didn't finish sluicing everything there and I went back today just to do some test pans and it looks like what I haven't done yet is richer than what I did last time! =] I will post some pics of what I find when I go back. I found 0.6grams in a pan full of material =O might be a record breaker sluice outing for me when I go..

Prospecting is my job xD I hardly ever get less than $50 worth a trip. I think my spot is about cleaned out though. Just one really good looking hole left.

looks like your right on the money with this spot and a spot is never really worked out .gold will allways be moving around and it seems your finding it rather well just keep at it every little bit counts an before you know it you'll have a nice collection of it .
