Todays Club Hunt finds

We had our local club hunt today. Before the start of the hunt the Huntmaster had everyone draw a card from a deck of cards. Each card was a prize. Everyone got a nice coin. Mine was a nice 1876 CC seated dime. There were 24 members hunting today. There were a lot of tokens planted for some very nice prizes. I got a total of 35 silver dimes. That included the seated dime as well as 17 mercury and 16 rosies and one barber dime. And some civil war bullets and camp lead and flat button. I also won a couple gift certificates to local restaurants, T-shirt and some other smaller items.

At least you guys had a cool day Randy. You made and won some nice finds. Any rain during the hunt in East Tennessee? HH, Quindy.

Randy the Carson City Seated is a sweet coin, especially when you win it in a club drawing!!! The "A.H." is really cool and makes it a nice personal piece and makes you wonder who it might have been and where they were when they carved it? Very nice coin plus you dug a ton of silver dimes and even some CW bullets to boot....I'd say that was a dang good club hunt, Congrats :icon_thumleft:

It was a very nice day Quindy. The rain held out til the end of the hunt. That was a lot of digging. I was going as fast as I could and didn't even look at what I found until the end. The key to club hunts is speed. I would recover the find and put in pocket and fill hole and move on. I would have loved to have found this much in a regular hunt but the club hunts are a great way to aquire a bunch of silver.
