today's dimes ($220) were all skunks. had a very bad 2 weeks with nothing but 1 keeper

i got an email from a friend with this offer:

i ordered mine (i was able to pay through paypal so i know i'm 100% safe from scams), and will update if and when i receive.

Has anyone here tried to order the items using another people's name in the household. I know that they say one per household. I've gotten mine but I'm wondering if anyone has tried to order for additional people in the household using that other person's credit card?

Has anyone actually received these coins yet? If so, what is the quality like? Has anyone received more than one set?

I'm sure the Morgan will be a 1921 and I doubt it's BU

also another e-mail i've received (credit to JetLee):

I came across an ad in the VFW magazine that lists Morgan Dollars for $31.50 each in "Extra Fine" condition. I'm not sure what "Extra Fine" is but they are below melt. I called and asked how much shipping was and was told that it is a flat $20.00 for how ever many I ordered. So I asked how many of these can I order and was told I could order up to 20. So a roll of "Extra Fine" Morgans for $650.00 is not too bad. That is $0.79 below melt for each. I'm not sure if any of you would be interested so I figured I would post the details here. They did not make any fuss about making sure I actually had a copy of the VFW magazine in front of me by asking random questions like that last ad did. They only asked for the Vault Code. Thanks for this deal! I called and ordered 20 of the coins so we'll see what happens. The salesperson tried to sell me BU Morgans for $75. I told him that I could get them on APMEX for $52.99 and tried to talk him down but he said he couldn't go any lower. Anyway, if I receive them this will be a great deal. He told me to expect 10-15 business days to receive them which is a very long time.

Thanks again! This is a great month to get these types of deals because when these ads were printed, silver was much lower than it is now. I don't expect next month's deals to be nearly as good.

Summary: American Eagle Reserve is not a reputable business. Stay away from them.

Well, after the charge for these 20 coins sat on my credit card for over a week with no shipping confirmation I finally called these bozos and cancelled the order. The guy had called me two other times trying to sell me rare gold coins for outrageous prices. I asked him when they intended to ship my original order and he said 10-15 business days. I then asked him why they had charged my card if they didn't intend to ship for so long and he gave me some bullcrap about "holding the price". We got into it about how that was against the Mastercard merchant agreement since he didn't inform me ahead of time that they would do that. He got all upset with me and asked if I wanted to cancel the order to which I replied "absolutely".

So fair warning.... American Eagle Reserve is not a reputable business. They will charge your card ahead of time, delay shipping your order as long as possible, and then hassle you on the phone about other "great deals" that are anything but. I won't be getting my original coins after all of this waiting and I'm going to have to monitor my credit card now to make sure they don't do anything shady and that they actually give me a credit. It's stuff like this that keeps most people from taking advantage of these deals.

I've called on four of these deals but have only received one. I've cancelled one, one is backordered, and the other one appears to have disappeard into oblivion because the company hasn't given me any indication that they actually have the order.

If you are talking about the one from iccoin.com, no. I haven't received mine yet and it still says that it is on backorder.
