I hit it again tonight after work for an hour or so. I sure would like to find an area with a little silver in it. Most of this park has been bulldozed or remodeled since the 1960's, some places it may have been reworked a few times.
I managed one silver dime so far, I got it from near the rocks at the creek bed wall, I figured that no one would push much dirt to that for fear of breaking the wall. There is an area maybe 6' wide that runs the open length of the creek, thats where I found the better coins. I have been searching the perimeter of the park, but every place I go, the earth has been reshaped. I know this doesnt mean that there is no silver there, but it seems to make it harder to find.
I grew up here, I watched them cut down huge pine trees and destroy a ball field to put up the pool...
The park is very old, but so much dirt has been moved... gonna keep looking though.
