Today's Finds: Back to the Old Farm 3-15-2026

Got myself another KGII at the old farm. The soil there is not very kind to these old coins. I updated to version 4.1 on the WS6 Master, had all kinds of trouble on Saturday. Falsing left and right. I never really ground balanced the Deus 2 before. On Sunday the first thing I did was ground grab and things went much better.

Got an IHP, can't see a date.

My wife found these.

Found this lead disc.

I think this is a large coat tombac button.

The dirt sure is hot, burnt those coppers up.

Yeah, using the HF2. Most of the ground around here isn't acidic, just the particular spot these coins are found must be. I will say this, that ground doesn't look that wet from the surface, but once you open a plug the hole fills with water fast.
