Hello everyone. I am running behind as I am always busy and traveling away from home. The finds that my son and I found recently are listed below. I am getting better at this day by day. I got permission to hunt on the old Smith farm as I call it because my family had it for 2 generations. My father was only 10 years old after WW2 and the oldest of 11 kids my grandmother had. A devoted Irish Catholic whom is 94 and still running strong. They moved from Chicago after the war and my father lived their until he was married. I need to get a picture of the place but it was built in 1902. I have just began to hunt part of it and have a ways to go. The Wheaties were all found in a 10 foot radius. They are all in great condition. Not in circulation too long. In fact, everything except for the broken up army vehicle ( made in the USA) and a 1948 ohio license plate were all within a 25 foot radius. A few Rosie's(not silver) and some newer clad. I also found this 1910 Meiji Era Japanese coin. Since my wife is Japanese, she was really excited to see an old coin in a small Ohio town. What's the odds of that? The 1948 chauffers badge was in mint condition. My grandmother believes it may have been the guy (deceased a few years ago) that was with my great Uncle who died in the Phillipines during the Battan death march. He often visited the farm. She said no one in our family had a chauffeurs license, but her memory is getting tarnished. I also found a watch. I have no idea if it is junk or what. I haven't had time to research it yet.

No, it's been in the ground for awhile. It was down 4 inches.
