Todays finds on a Chicago beach and my first Mercuty dime

So,e interesting finds starting with rocks that set off the detector. Still not sure what they are but they are lightweight and appear to be like lava rocks but also mostly smooth. A few cons and my first mercury dime.

What kind of signal did you get with those 'rocks'? Was it loud like a pull tab or faint and scratchy like a rusty nail?

They both showed up as the same thing but different than a pull tab or rusty nail.
