Today's finds-second day ever of metal detecting...

[Rings&bling]

Found these items yesterday and today...not sure if the small medallion is gold-that was the most exciting find! Threw away 3 crushed soda cans and 4 bottle caps. My arm is tired, but I learned a lot about my machine after four hours total of detecting. I worked two neighborhood parks.

Nice finds R & B. The more you use your detector, the better you will get to know what it is telling you. Best thing to do is just dig it all ! The key and medallion are nice finds.

I'd be willing to bet you will find a Ford logo on that key when you clean it. To me, half the fun of detecting is figuring out what I have found. Good providence on your next hunt.

Then a diamond tester.
Then a ultra sonic cleaner.
Then a buffer/polisher.
Then a ...........
