Busy weekend here 😅 yesterday we went to York.. we had tickets to see a band, so went early and spent the day sightseeing… absolutely beautiful buildings! Himself got to touch a bit of Roman architecture… and see the statue of his hero …. I got to feed the pigeons.. and the band were superb 😎 xx

So a little tired today.. but we went to the barn field and had a little swing time! First item… Saxon Wrist clasp….not sure what the 2 nd one is… little thimble, fox button, tap key, musket and capstan shot, buttons and my 2 scrappy Romans … 😆 Added some pics of York cos it’s history 😂 xx

The finds, the scenery, the history. Simply outstanding!

Wow! Nice finds and beautiful buildings and pictures. Is the strange man standing alone "Himself?" Good to see he is real (if it is himself!" :hello:

York appears amazing.

Himself is disappointing the audience due to his non authentic Roman footwear. Even more; no toga!
(Congrats on soiling the pillar though.)

Great hunt!' Congrats.
The scrappys keeping you on the olde coin board.
The wrist clutch....A first for my eye.
Bullets. Where would we be without them?
Tap key. Lets hope it was substituted for promptly at it's loss.
Reynard! You olde rascal. Off and running yet again. Beware the waddling hounds.

Humans promoting chicken fighting is illegal in my country.
Seems York is a bit more tolerant of battling fowl.
(Kidding. )

What's this going to see a concert and you're out smooshing with a fethered bunch no less.
Anyway thanks for the lovely pictures and the history tour.
Himself seems to be his happy self.

Well done on the Saxon piece.

Yes …. that is the man… the myth…. the legend …. that is Himself 😆 xx

I enjoyed all the photos, but especially those of the countryside and historical buildings. Thank you and please keep them coming!

Thats a very highly decorated Wrist Clasp, nice high status piece.
The 2nd item is a small section of an 18th C shoe buckle
