Spent a little while at a New site today.
A Horse Boarding Farm at the Present.
Place dates Pre 1870's
but not sure how far back before that.

No coins today but no matter
Found a tiny cookie Cutter about the size of an animal Cookie
I believe a Lion. an unknown aluminum flat thingie
shaped like a spoon, a harmonica reed, and 2 buckels
the large one is brass.

was very hot and the ground so dry I told them I
will be back after a 2 day soaking rain.

Also this What I think may be an old lighter top.
although it reminds me of the tops on Tire patch Kits
I don't think it is.
Lighter in pic just for size comparison

Nice finds Jeff, I think the 2nd thing is the bottom half to a Cigarette Case. That or the ruff top would seem like its a match case.

Keep @ it and HH!!

Great finds Jeff!!! I would be looking forward to getting back there-got to be some silver.

Very awesome relics dude! Keep up the hunting!

Cool Jeff...

I am saying Match Safe Top buy the serrations on the top...

Those cookie cutters multiply like crazy ~ I think the little girls used to make "mud cookies" there every where ...

Is this the new Google Site ...

Good luck,

Nick

Not real deep.
Nothing over 5 Inches I'd say.
I bypassed the weak Deep ones
today to Prevent Damage
to the Ground.

Nice stuff

Back in the day a tire repair kit came in a little kit like that and you would scruff up the tube before patching with the top of the kit just like the one you have in the pic.

Ahhhh, the days of the inner tube, what fun we had then.

Hope ya hurry and get that rain! That looks like it's gonna be a great site to hunt.

Congrats on your finds~ Nana

Nice group.

Jeff, why do people only find the reed and no other part of the harmonics.
Did they periodically replace them and disguarded the one you found?

I don't know on that Either.

I have found 2 Harmonicas over the years though.

Thanks Everyone !

Hi Jeff, that one item could be the top off of a tire tube patch kit. Used to rough up the rubber before cementing the patch onto the tube. Just my thoughts.

nice finds jeff ----i havent been out hunting . dont have any new spots to go to and tired of hunting the old ones

Was my First Thought. But then Rememberd those tops had
open Holes like a Great so it would Scratch (Scour) the Surface of the Tube.
