TODAY'S HALF BOX WAS GOOD 
+ MORE GOLD, SILVER AND COINS PURCHASED. HELP..? :@
Hey all
today i went to the bank to make a deposit and asked if they had any halves. didn't expect too many halves, if any at all, since they get coins tuesday and friday,
and i was going to pick up my 2 boxes tomorrow. surprisingly they had $630 in halves, 1 brinks box and $130 hand-rolled. the customer rolls were someone's dumps,
i could tell right away,
cause i got some of his returns before.
but at least i got the box so didn't care too much.
the 13 rolls were all skunk. but the box was great!
the best box i had this year so far i think.
here are the totals:
10 x 40% Kennedy
5x 90% Kennedy
7x Franklin
2x Walking Liberty
2 40% and 1 ken 90% were enders. best roll had a franklin, a walker, and a 90% kennedy.

a little off topic:
in my post from friday ( http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,389508.0.html ) i've listed
some cheap silver coins i found in an old comics store by my house. the store owner said i should come
back monday to look at some foreign coins he had, some were silver and a couple were gold. today i went
back, and i picked up 25 coins (he had to leave the store so couldn't go through the whole thing),
and a "1986 united states liberty coins set". don't know much about the set AS A SET, and if it has any collectible
value, but the silver + gold + copper content were more than what he was asking for, so i said what the hell and
just bought it.
there were:1x 1986 san francisco PROOF liberty half dollar (0.33 troy oz copper) = around $1.50 melt value
1x 1986 san francisco PROOF liberty silver dollar (0.86 troy oz, 0.900 silver = .77 troy oz silver) around $28 melt value
1x 1986 west point PROOF liberty gold $5 (total weight .269 troy oz: .24oz gold, 0.02 oz silver, .01 oz copper) $345 in melt
paid $325 for the set, i'm very happy with it!
now for the coins, i've picked up 1 seated liberty half 1854 arrows that had a small hole in it for $8,
and about 25 foreign coins, some are silver, some are not. i don't know all the coins i bought, some just
seemed cheap to me, and they were all priced 15 or 20 years ago. so i took a chance. i took a scan of most
of the coins i bought today, and numbered them, i tried to identify them but couldn't find enough info on
some. so i numbered them in the scan below, if anyone has more info please post a comment! thanks in advance
i hope the scan comes out clear enough
this is what i have on the coins for now (if you have an idea of price, composition, purity etc.. please comment below!)
1. 1949 france 5 francs, "repvbliqve francaise" on obv, RF 5 FRANCS 1949 on rev. no mint mark. paid $2
2. same as #1. 1947. mint mark "B". paid $2
3. 1889 great britain "florin". "victoria dei gratia" on obv, "britanniarumregina: fid: dep 1889" ob rev. paid $8
4. 1918-F GERMANY 1/2 mark. "deutsches reich" on obverse. paid $6
5. 1936 5 marks? "deutsches reich 5 marks"on rev, obv reads "1847-1934" and "paul von hindenburg". paid $10.50
6. 1886 italy "umberto I re d'italia", reverse says "L2". paid $5.50
7. same as #5 paid $10
8. australia sixpence 1935 (flip says "key", is it really?), has some scratches on reverse, so only paid $8.50
9. 1918-d of #4. paid $6
10. 1920 british half penny "george V" / "british west africa 1920" on reverse and a jewish star (like the one on the Israeli flag). paid $4
11. 1933 mexico un peso (key??) .72 silver paid $8
12. 1915 cuba diez centavos "patria y libertad / 2.5g / 1915" on obverse. paid $2.50
13. 1885 1 mark germany paid $5
14. germany 5 reichsmark 1934. he asked for $15, i paid $7.50!
15. 1865 italy vittorio emanuele II L-1 (SILVER?) paid $8
16. 1880 great britain (half penny? idk..) paid $3
17. israeli 250 prutah 1949 (pretty sure it's not silver though i know some were made in silver this year,but missing "H" mintmark)$5 paid
18. 1870 belgium 5 francs (.900 silver?) , "L'UNION FAIT LA FORGE 5-F" on rev. , paid $16
19. USSR 1970 ONE ROUBLE CCCP
? $3 PAID
20. 1947-B SAME AS #1 paid $2
21. 1895-A france 1 franc paid $3.50
22. 1924 50 kopek RUSSIA , paid only $8 (was asking $15)
23. 1886 canada one cent , paid $3.75
24. 1868 peru "un sol" (scarce date..?) (.900 silver..?) paid $9.50
i know there's a chance i over-paid for junk, but with the gold under melt, and the profit from friday's
silver purchased from this guy, i'm still ahead even if it's all junk. he had some more pretty coins but i
won't be there again till friday morning.
anyone recognizing any of these coins?
