Hey folks,

Got out to a few new sites today. They didn't hold much in the way of old coins but I managed to get another silver, this time a Southwestern style Sterling ring. I'll take it however I can get it.

Good luck out there and happy hunting!

That ring is awesome washingtonian. Iโ€™m so trying to keep up with you. Congratulations!!

Thanks T. I don't have much time the next couple weeks to detect and conditions are perfect here so I'm getting out as much as I can right now!

Damn Washingtonian, you guys are just tearing it up down there...:icon_thumleft:

Hate to say it as it just shows how much gets missed. Back in the 1990's,
a friend and I hunted the bejezzus out of every park, playfield and school
in the greater Seattle area. Magnolia, Ballard, Shoreline, ad nauseum.

He had a Cz-5 and I had the Cz-6a, which at the time were about the
deepest hunting coin machines around..and we knew how to use 'em,
too. Pulled a lot of silver coins, jewelry, etc. out back then. We hunted
early morning til dark most every weekend day.

Glad to see those spots still producing...:occasion14:

So that's where all the good stuff went!!

No, that makes sense. Lots of the main parks are pretty dead for old coins. It's taken a lot of out of the box thinking to find stuff.

I try to focus on areas other people wouldn't think to go. Sites in sketchier parts of town, less accessible areas, places where shrubs are cut back. It takes a lot of creativity and work but it's still possible to find silver if you have enough tenacity.

Thanks for the encouragement!

Congrats, nice finds!

I have a great appreciation for this type on inlay art on the ring. It ain't easy making the blank for a piece like that.

Best wishes and good luck!---------Phil

Thank you Tommy. I'm excited to put them all together. Not sure I'll ever have another year like this!
