Hope no one has this happen to them, Trust me It'll leave a bad taste in your mouth,A friend and I went to a church where an old school once stood, There was construction work going on in the rear of the church. I knocked on the door and a Lady,That both myself and my buddy Assumed to be the secretary, Came to the
door. Told her who we were, Where we were from, And asked If we could detect around the Back of the church
As long as we stayed Away and out of the way of the workers? She told us that would be fine , But, The music director had already done that and did not find anything. I told her thank you and that we would probably walk
over to the Ball field after we were through behind the church. she smiled and said fine, We proceded around to the back of the building and started swinging, My first target about five feet from my truck was the token it says

About thirty minutes into the hunt A man came walking out toward us, I spoke and he said " She said she told you no and you told her you were going to do it anyway! I asked what He ment and he told us in no uncertain terms that the Lady had told us not to detect, And I had told her that we were going to anyway!
As I told him that is not the truth to follow us and we would go talk to here togather, He told me that the police were on their way.....We went back to the door where we talked to the lady and She stood there and told us to our faces that we were liers, She said she told us No anthe whole story.....The county deputy showed up and I tol her Our side of it, She said they don't want you here. Thats all they had to say in the first place! The lady I'm sure did not have the authority to say yea or nay, And who ever the guy was Jumped her about it and she got out the only way she thought she could!....Real good God fearing people....Sorry so long winded, It just ercked my A$$, The breast plate, and all the rest came from a private home (WITH the homeowners consent and presence) Just Venting Happy Hunting

I had somethjing similar happen about 2 months ago. My friend had secured us permission on a field to hunt, and were told the boundaries. Sure enough, we get 15 minutes into the hunt and an irate guy comes charging at us and saying we never had permission on this field..........and that the conversation we had with his wife never happened. He huffed and puffed and threatened to take our machines and call the sheriff, while telling us everything we said were lies. It took all the restraint i had to not bury my shovel into this guy's head for calling me a liar to my face, when i knew i had done nothing wrong

I wear a shirt with a pocket and have my smart phone video recording when I ask. Thank god no issues.

we get people all the time claiming they have permission to hunt our property, so it goes both ways. I had some kid come through throwing firecrackers one year to drive the deer for some hunters. I seriously thought about shooting him but he was just a kid. his daddy on the other hand should know better.
