Today I was diggin found a can and moved to another spot.Found the little point( Darl?).And a flake of Obsidian.
First one from this spot...

I wish..The other one was broken off .....(by them not me..lol)
This is a tough midden to dig.It's old and well dug.But there are still some gems in there....And still lots to learn.
Like how far has that obsidian come?How old is that canI have still found good artifacts that the other diggers have missed(ie..a quartz bolo stone...etc..)

frank you are getting some nice stuff out of that midden,are you still digging the sunshine midden?,i can remember drinking pop from those cans in the early 70s,it would have been long rusted away in my area
