Re: Today's thought

I will be sooooo glad when the election is over NO MATTER WHO WINS!

Re: Today's thought

If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

Re: Today's thought

Why is it that crap often times never smells until you step in it? :icon_scratch:

Re: Today's thought

Wisdom
During this political season let's be reminded of these wise words:
You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting classhatred. You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence. You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

Abraham Lincoln

Re: Today's thought

Whatever else you do today, GO VOTE. (and I didn't even tell you who to vote for)

Re: Today's thought

Hey buddie!!! I hope you understand that that free lunch at your rib shack would be a real bonanza here in south Texas!! I could vote 10 or 12 times and feed my entire office of co-workers. Oh yeah man, here they don't check stuff like who you are and if you are citizen or not really well. No one wants to get Illegal vote disgruntled. So, no free lunches here. It would put the dinning industry out of business in the Rio Grande Valley. Sorry, I don't mean to be bitter, I just want that free rib lunch two >:( Despite my musings, go vote!! The ole USA may be screwed up, but hey, find me a better place!

Re: Today's thoughts...

The votes here don't count as I am not in the electoral college and east of the Rockies decide who gets elected.

"A case of beer has 24 cans. A day has 24 hrs. Coincidence? I don't think so. "

When do I get my free health insurance now that we have a new President?
And when do they cancell the second amendment?
( Do I only have to turn in the guns they know about? )

Cost of ammo sure has gone up.

Re: Today's thought

wow, I just "found" this thread. Lots of good wisdom here...well wisdom anyway!

My thought for the day..can't believe it isn't here yet:

What if the hokey pokey IS what it's all about?

Re: Today's thought

Why do you put your right hand in first??? :icon_scratch: ::)

Re: Today's thought

So they can chop it off, since most people are right handed!

Re: Today's thought

This election is like no other election in the history of America.
The issues are insignificant compared to what is at stake.
What can be more dangerous than having a man bereft of a conscience, a serial liar,
and one who cannot distinguish his fantasies from reality as the leader of the free world?

Usually where the smoke comes from. Electricity runs on smoke... never let the smoke out of wires!

Re: Today's thought

So that's why they are covered in rubber, to keep the smoke in. Like a condom. OK
