Saturday dawned bright and dry with no frost! We went back to the next field that has the Roman road thru it. Much quieter field, but I did good! Little hammered and a quartered hammered. Plus possibly 3 other coins, 2 are stuck together…?

Nice steel yard weight, musket ball and a lead thingy, we haven’t found one for a while, so was nice to see one again! Some buckles, and a lead button (?) and another little lead thing (?). A strange disk with what looks like coloured glass on the back, a squashed ring, buttons, thimble and some other bits!

Cool my best guess was correct about Ed the Con.
Very good that you got the Mint out of a Qrter, that could be impossible depending on the letters available. There are many Mints during this period with many moneyers, so excellent ID.
