TOKEN and Eagle Button - ***UPDATE- Token proudly displayed now***

On my way to work this morning I saw a falling star. No, not Britney Spears. I was wondering if that meant I would have good luck today. Well, I didn't hit the lottery, so I'll assume my finds today were the good luck.
I hit the wooded spot again at the plantation property where I found the police button the other day.
Lots of iffy targets out there, and I thought I had finally found an LC. Included are before & after pictures of what my "coin" turned out to be.
Still a neat find though. I'll keep trying.

The token cleaned up nicely with a peroxide bath. It looks to be in excellent condition too.
"25 cents towards a $2.50 savings account at 4% interest." Early 1900's maybe?

Great digs and video. I would rather have the token than a LC (I think).

The 2 items you refer to as fireplace parts are legs from a wood stove.

I've been trying so hard to find an LC this year, but it just hasn't happened. Maybe I'll find one under that pile of foundation stones.

Amazing how that property keeps cranking out good finds. The relics are nice (especially the skeleton key) and the token sweet.

PS - those signals wouldn't be so iffy if you had an......em...never mind.

Well, after a bit of a wait, I was able to find me a Commercial National Bank postcard on E-Bay.
Now the bank token can be displayed with honor.

O.K., now I feel like a tard. I spelled "commercial" wrong on my token flip. Now I have to take it apart again.

I hear ya Chris. Me trying to find a dated LC has been going on WAY too long now.
I'll be detecting with Mirage and DD-777 tomorrow so that should be fun. Tesoro -vs- Minelab.
