Before the Nazis, the swastika was a good luck symbol from the Indus Valley in ancient India. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swastika

You can find it on tokens, etc from before the war. Notice the horseshoe, 4 leaf clover on this token? They are all good luck charms.

The swastika goes way back before Hitler took it over. The Nazi's reverted the sign as well so it's going the opposite direction.

Not listed in Richards database, though I found one quite similar in design from 'Harrys mens shop' Albany...
