Tonights finds

Hello all, managed a couple of finds tonight off the pasture field. Got a 1860 Victoria penny in decent condition and a copper object. Had this type of thing before looks like something to do with leather, although not 100% sure.

Congrat's on the Penny.....I'm going to stick with something horse related too,but that could be just about anything.Nice Job!!!

Hi Crusader,I've dug out a couple of sword belt fittings to compare,also got another one of the things I found last night. Both are the same size and were found on the same field about a year apart. Going to have a few days off detecting now,major lower back pain !.

They are of a similar size. The reason I think its not horse related is because I have never found any & I have found plenty of horse stuff over the years. I am familar with most sword fittings like the post medieval versions you pictured. Its just a best guess, but I'm pretty sure I would have had one in the mix if it were to do with horses $:-\$
